HST 110 United States History II
3 college credits.
United States History Since 1865 is a dynamic field of inquiry that helps us understand the world in which we live. What is America’s place in the world? What is the role of government? What rights do citizens and different groups have? We can think about how the past reminds us or intersects with the present and make comparisons to see that while the past never truly repeats itself, it can be cyclical. Modern American history informs and engages with the present.
