ASU's innovative approach allows students to experience real college coursework before deciding whether to add credit to their official transcript. We call this safety net "GPA Protection," and ASU is the only university in the country that offers this option.

Accreditation

Arizona State University is regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), one of the most widely recognized institutional accrediting bodies in the United States. ASU credits are issued by an accredited public university and are accepted by many colleges and universities, subject to each institution's transfer policies.

The HS4CC Perspective

ASU Universal Learner Courses are one of the most versatile and affordable college credit options available to homeschool families. They provide a practical way for students to gain experience with college-level coursework, build an academic record, explore future majors, and potentially reduce the cost and time required to complete a college degree. For many HS4CC families, ASU serves as an excellent first step into the world of college credit.

HS4CC Pricing

As an "Accelerate partner" at ASU, we are approved to offer homeschool families the same deeply discounted rate ASU offers its public high school partners. As such, homeschooling families can complete 3 or 4 credit courses through HS4CC Academy for $299 instead of the $425 general public rate.  The general public rate is paid in 2 parts ($25 at registration and then $400 at the time of transcript), and HS4CC Academy members may still choose that pricing model if they wish.
