🚨HS4CC Academy Guide 🚨 

Welcome to HS4CC Academy! 

Arizona State University (Grades 9-12)

Your student will not be able to register for ASU courses under the discounted price if you have an ASU course in progress. Your student must complete existing courses first.

  1. ASURITE IDs are needed for every student.  We will create the ASURITE ID for all new students.  If your student already has an ASURITE ID, you will be able to provide it to us during your annual enrollment. NOTE: accurate/matching data for the HS4CC Membership is needed to move forward. Errors create a big issue in ASU's system and can delay your student's access to ASU classes by weeks.

  2. New students:  watch your student's email account for an email from Arizona State University requesting identity verification. Your student must complete ID verification before they can take ASU courses. A homeschool ID will work if your student does not have a passport, ID, or other item.

  3. Purchase your student's ASU course(s) through the Academy.*

  4. Pro Tip: Write your student's name in the "notes" section of every order.

  5. HS4CC Academy will enroll your student in the course(s) you purchased.

  6. Your student’s course(s) will appear on their ASU dashboard in 1-7 business days.

  7. On-demand courses will open immediately, session based courses will open on the first day of class.

  8. Upon completing an ASU course, your student must click the button to add their college credit to their ASU transcript. Your student does not get college credit without this final step!!

  9. There is NO COST to transcript (or not transcript) your student's course at the end. You will see their final grade before you have to decide, but if you choose not to transcript the course, they will not have earned college credit.

*HS4CC Academy students retain the option to purchase courses directly from ASU Prep Global or ASU Universal Learner, but HS4CC-Academy does not provide support for those courses. Students do that through their ASU dashboard and pay ASU directly.

Peterson’s Test Prep (Grades 9-12)

  1. Purchase a 6-month Peterson’s subscription at HS4CC-Academy.org

  2. Pro Tip: Write your student's name in the "notes" section of your order.

  3. After purchase, we will set up access and email your student with login details.

  4. You may renew your subscription at the discounted rate 1 additional time, for a total of 2 times at the HS4CC discounted rate. Enrollment beyond 2 times is processed directly with Peterson’s at the regular price.

  6. Tech support: Use the “Contact Us” button from your Peterson’s dashboard.

 

Google Certificates (Grades 9-12)

  1. Purchase a Google Certificate at HS4CC-Academy.org

  2. Our Google scholarship will pay 100% of your certificate from the day you enroll through the end of our funding on December 1, 2027.

  3. You will receive an email from HS4CC explaining how to use the program in your homeschool.
  4. Action Required: You will receive an email from Coursera with a login link.  You must log in through that link to be covered under the scholarship. 
  5. You may complete as many certificates as you like during our scholarship period. If you are in the middle of a certificate when our funding runs out, you have the option to convert your Coursera account to "self-pay" and pay Coursera directly. The current cost is $45 per month.


HS4CC Academy Refund Policy

  • HS4CC Academy Annual Enrollment Fee: ($199) Your benefits begin immediately; membership fees are nonrefundable.

  • ASU Session-based courses:  Receive a full refund or ask for a course switch before any course starts. Once a course begins, students may request a course switch during the first 14 days, but refunds are not available.

  • ASU On-demand courses: On-demand courses begin immediately upon purchase and are nonrefundable; however, students may request a course switch during the first 14 days.

  • Google Certificates: Google Certificates are provided through a limited scholarship program and have no cash value.

  • Peterson's Test Prep subscription is nonrefundable.

  • As a courtesy, your first 3 refunds or course swaps are complimentary. Additional refunds or swaps after 3 carry a 10% processing fee.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can my student take courses from more than one partner?

Yes. Students may combine courses from any of our Academy partners, including Arizona State University, Peterson's Test Prep, and future partners.

 

When should I purchase courses?

On-demand courses should be purchased when your student is ready to begin. 

Session-based courses should be purchased as early as possible. A university may remove a course that doesn't meet minimum enrollment or is full.   

 

Will HS4CC Academy pay my tuition?

Yes. For courses purchased through HS4CC Academy, we pay the tuition directly to the partner institution. Students are responsible for any costs above tuition, such as textbooks, lab kits, software, exam fees, or other required materials.
