Drawing as Seeing and Thinking

Drawing as Seeing and Thinking is comprised of lectures, artist videos, and demonstration videos. In addition, students will engage in activities that include visual analysis, creative problem solving, observational and experimental drawing, as well as maintaining a visual sketchbook journal. Students are encouraged to work with a diverse range of materials and processes on their journey to using drawing as a primary means of generating thought and creating images.
This three-credit course requires approximately 135 hours of work. Weekly work efforts may vary depending on your course type.
